Thanks to the perfectly closing lid with the special STAUB aroma rain structure, the evaporating moisture drips directly back onto your dish. This way you can enjoy extra juicy meat and delicious, tender vegetables that retain their natural flavour. Want to add even more flavour? Then use fresh herbs for an optimal result!
Features and specifications
- Ideal for searing and slowly cooking meat, fish or vegetables
- Juicy and tender cooking results thanks to the lid
- The matt black enamel on the inside is ideal for particularly crispy roasting and is extremely durable.
- Suitable for all types of hobs, including induction, can also be used in the oven/grill
- Temperature range from -20°C to 250°C
- Made in France
- 30 year warranty
Usage
The frying pan can be used from -20°C to 250°C, but should be heated slowly. Be careful: use oven gloves and a trivet, because the frying pan gets very hot. Use wooden or silicone cookware to prevent scratches.
Many Mediterranean herbs such as sage, bay leaf and thyme are perfect to add to your casserole at the beginning of the cooking process. This gives them plenty of opportunity to spread their delicious aromas through your dish. A tip: sear a juicy pork tenderloin on the hob and then let it cook further in the oven. With a delicious crust of olive oil, garlic, sage and rosemary, you will immediately imagine yourself in the South of France. A tasty dish that feels like a culinary holiday!
